WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?

A home delivery service of fresh fish, best quality, hand picked and straight from the coast. 

You choose to order a Fish Box or make up you own order from our Fish Categories. If you like you can set up a regular delivery of a Fish Box but you don't have to do this, you can order when and how you like.

We often get asked how we get such fresh, top quality fish? We joke because we are in NEW PORT (Shropshire) being far from the sea! There is the perception that buying from the coast is the only way to guarantee freshness. Even coastal suppliers cannot always rely on the local catch and will receive fish transported from other ports. We get the best by buying from trusted coastal suppliers AND BY going to market daily to hand pick to order the catch from all the ports arriving overnight. It is then packed for delivery to you. WE DO NOT hold stock! We NEVER compromise on quality. If it is not good enough we will not buy. We deliver in our own vans throughout Shropshire, The Welsh Borders and parts of Staffordshire and Cheshire. Check our 'Deliveries In Your Area' to see if you are in our 99p delivery area. Outside these areas we send your order by overnight courier for a charge of £7.50 for up to £50, £5.75 for £50 and over and we pay the carriage on orders over £100. You can either order one of our fresh Fish Boxes or a large range of fresh fish, shellfish and specialties, all in our Online Shop.

WHAT IS A FISH BOX ?
You decide how much fish you require and how you want it prepared. Choose the box size you require from the table » here «. Tell us any fish you do not want in your box. We carefully choose the fish buying the best quality, good value and in season fresh fish of the day. We only buy fish which is in season and from sustainable sources. We prepare the fish, pack it in ice ( disposable ice packs for overnight courier service), in strong polystyrene boxes and deliver it to you. The fish you will receive will not be the same each delivery but chosen from about 70 varieties, suitable for everyday meals and supplied with a recipe. We do not put shellfish in the boxes unless asked and the only smoked fish is oak smoked haddock. All the fish is fresh and therefore suitable for home freezing.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO BUY IN THIS WAY?
Simply to receive a wide range of best quality FRESH fish. Central distribution policies by supermarkets invariably mean that fish is not as fresh as it could be. Our direct buying means that fish landed on one day will be on your doorstep within 48 hours. If you enjoy eating fish and care about the quality of what you eat, we are the suppliers for you.

CAN I PERSONALISE MY BOX?
Yes. You tell us what fish you do not want in your box or, if for example, you want to receive only white fish, no bony fish or perhaps wild fish in your box you can specify this.

DO I HAVE TO BE IN WHEN YOU DELIVER?
No, we supply the fish packed in polystyrene boxes with disposbale freezer pads which will maintain freshness all day. All we need is a safe, accessible place to leave your delivery.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL ONE OF MY REGULAR ORDERS?
Simply telephone our order line on 01952 820966 or email us, giving 48 hours notice and stating you name and cancellation date.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY ORDER, ORDER EXTRA OR PLACE A SPECIAL ORDER?
Easily done by either emailing us, placing another online order or ringing the order line on 01952 820966giving 48 hours notice and stating your requirements or ask for advice on quantities and prices.

HOW DO I ORDER?
Complete the online form in the shop pages or telephone the order line on 01952 820966. We start very early in the morning so if you find the ansaphone on please leave your name and number and the best time for us to return your call. We will contact you to take your order. Payment by debit or credit card. Please note WE NEED 24HOURS NOTICE FOR DISPATCH, YOU CAN RECEIVE MAIL ORDER DELIVERIES ON   WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY OR FRIDAY. HOW OFTEN DO I RECEIVE A FISH BOX
This is entirely up to you. Most customers within our free delivery areas have weekly or alternate week deliveries. If carriage is payable customers either have a bigger box less often or get together with friends/family to offset the carriage cost of a smaller box more often. The choice is yours.
